The Information Technology of nearly all major private or public organisations is growing more and more complex over time : Working with the existing applications, that were developed thirty or forty years ago and are often outdated, but nevertheless embed an essential part of the vital business rules, adapting them to all the modifications that result from regulatory constraints, commercial requirements or technological changes, efficiently integrating the legacy code with new developments to cope with marketing considerations, cost reduction or competitive aspects, is a daily challenge for every IT manager.

CompoSys is a software house that is located in Luxembourg. With about forty years experience in complex business analysis and developments, we have defined a complete set of methodologies and integrated adequate development tools to allow our customers to be highly efficient when handling all the complex problems mentioned above.

Our skills include Component Based Development (CBD), Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) allowing for an efficient reuse of existing programs, rejuvenation of legacy applications, more particularly a highly automated conversion of old COBOL programs, as well as requirement specifications that are independent of any particular technology through the use of a Model Driven Environment (MDE). This scheme offers three major advantages : it is highly innovative, it allows for substantial cost reductions both in application development and application maintenance, and finally it is an evolutionary and not a revolutionary approach, that can be smoothly integrated into  existing IT environments.
